  3. Galway on the West and Kildare on the East. 
  4. It is low-lying, with part of the Bog of

  6. rivers Shannon (along the western boundary), 
  7. Brosna, Clodagh, and Broughill and the 
  8. Slieve Bloom mountains in the South East.
